Florida Elise is a pink Fancy Leaf caladium variety. These shade to
full sun loving caladium bulbs or tubers are great for adding easy
color to your late spring and summer plantings. Florida Elise is
considered tall in height (2-2.5 ft). Florida Elise caladium bulbs are
tropical foliage plants that are easy to grow in landscaping, pots and
planters. Florida Elise caladiums have very large green leaves that
are covered with large light pink blotches. They look beautiful behind
short foliage or shorter caladium varieties of contrasting color.
Caladium bulbs originated in the Amazon Basin, which is why they
require and thrive in the warm summer day and night temperatures.
Caladiums are from the Araceae family and mix well with other annuals,
Hosta’s, ferns, and foliage.uld be
started earlier in pots in a warm part of your home and then moved
outside when you desire. Also, the leaves are beautiful and very
long-lasting in floral arrangements!

***For a bushier potted plant (shorter and with more leaves) remove
the terminal, or main, bud. This is called de-eyeing, and is common in
commercial Caladium pot production.

Moisten the soil well when planting tubers. Soil should be kept

and well. When planting, mix in some ordinary garden fertilizer, such
