Sizzle is considered short to medium in height (1-1.5 ft). Sizzle, is a very showy, brightly colored variety that was developed by the University of Florida to be able to withstand Florida’s extreme summer sun and heat. Sizzle caladium bulbs are tropical foliage plants that are easy to grow in landscaping, pots and planters. Sizzle caladiums have very frilly, rosy pink leaves with a deeper rose vein and thin green margins. These vibrant, hot pink leaves look beautiful in front of taller contrasting caladiums or foliage and in hanging baskets. Caladium bulbs originated in the Amazon Basin, which is why they require and thrive in the warm summer day and night temperatures.
